The last couple of week some things happened in my family-life which resulted in me not blogging. My new years resolution was keeping this blog really alive and interesting this year, but when you are out of your routine for more than a week it's hard to get back in shape again. Anyway hopefully things go for the better now and I will find some time and energy to write about stuff.

Luckely I did find time to relax while lampworking and what really makes me happy is the knowledge that more and more I seem to discover my own personal style. Well perhaps that's already visible to others but until recent I didn't see it so much myself. Well I do know and maybe that's because lately I didn't experimented much but stayed more in my "comford zone". Well I like the results a lot and so I thing I will hang in that zone a bit longer... ;)

The laatste paar weken is er van alles voorgevallen in mijn familie waardoor me de tijd en energie om hier te schrijven even ontbrak. Het is overigens best raar, als je eenmaal je routine doorbreekt en meer dan 2 weken niets post dan is het om één of andere reden super lastig om weer te starten. Maar nu dan toch en hopelijk heb ik vanaf nu wel weer gewoon tijd en energie om deze blog ook weer een beetje op rit te houden.

De laatste weken heb ik wel regelmatig zitten branden en daarbij meer en meer het gevoel heb dat ik echt mijn eigen stijl heb gevonden, maar misschien komt dit ook wel omdat ik momenteel gewoon niet zo ontzettend experimenteer maar gewoon in mijn "comfort-zone" blijf hangen. Met de resultaten ben ik in ieder geval behoorlijk tevreden dus ik denk dat ik daar voorlopig nog maar even in blijf hangen ;)

"Cotton Candy"

Glass: CiM's Elphaba (limegreen), Moretti's Goldpink, transparent lightgreen and cotton candy pink.

The beads are decorated with twisties, encased stringers, poked dots, encased flowers, glassfrit and small raised dots in white, pink and green.

"Beachflowers"

Glass: CiM's stoneground and Leaky Pen and Moretti's transparent lightblue, white and ivory.

Most basebeads have a core of transparent lightblue encased with either CiM's stoneground or Leaky Penn or a combination of both. Decorations are made with plain, encased and SIS stringers, layered dots, lines, flowers and some of the beads are finished with white raised dots.

After the annealing process the beads have been etched to give them a look as if they were made using seaglass.
