I'm still not totally satisfied with my results. A lot of times the beads don't turn out the way I was expecting. Sometimes the colors don't work well together and sometimes it's simply a mess because of my shaky hands. So I need to practice a lot more. I will not have much time next week thow because of other responsibilities and the week after we will go off to the South of France for 3 week-holiday.
Here are some examples from beads I made lately. I bought some basepins so I'm able to make pendants with 3 or 4 beads depending on the size of the beads.
I've been working on my encasing skills. It's pretty difficult not to make a mess of the basebead while encasing it with clear and to cover it equally without leaving room for the basebead to come to the service. I'm still practicing simple beads with one basecolor encased with a clear. Whenever I messed up I added dots on the places the base reached the service, wich I think is a nice way to cover up the bad spots ;0)

And this is a mix of different techniques... raised flowers, placing dots and working with stringers. I even tryed to swirl the hot glass. This particular time everything worked out fine and so I'm pleased with the way this set looks.

I hope once to be able to make beads like for instance Anastasia. She really makes awsome beads and is able to combine a very creative style with some perfect beadskills!

Your skill at making beads keeps getting better and better (I thought the first ones you ever made were excellent) and I wish I lived closer to you, so I could learn from you. I always wanted to do pottery and work with clay, but after seeing your glass gems, I'd love to try this instead. Clever, clever you!
