This for me is a therapeutic picture wich will help me to calm down again. Look at it, these beauty's are all from my backyard. Simply take a moment to enjoy them and leave to go read another blog. And the reason why:
I was pretty angry... really. I even think you could say I've totally freaked out for a moment because of a telephone-convertation I had just a while back. What happened you might ask? Well let me tell you...
Some stupid girl from an even more stupid telemarketing compagny called me to inform me about an offer I simply could not refuse.
As always I stayed polight and friendly informing her, that if for some odd reason I would feel the urge to change to whatever she was trying to sell, I was perfectly able to find my way to whoever is cheepest and apparantly since she was conviced they were, I would definately find them! I concluded my statement saying I was starting to get a bit irritated because of all the compagnies trying to sell me stuff by phone wich even increased after starting my own design-compagny in januari.
As a reaction the ...girl answered that if that was the case I should have registered on this dutch website: infofilter.nl and put my name in their database to prevent me from having this calls. Do you believe that... not wanting to have this conversation in the first place, she practiccaly suggested I brought this upon myself.
Excuse me...I and I mean I should have done that?????
That was the exact moment I practacelly bursted out of my skin, really!! This is totally the other way around now is it... because this site and the database should not be necessary in the first place. But, if for some reason beyond my knowledge someone really think we do so, it surely should have been filled with practiccaly everyone. And only those that for some odd reason would feel the urge to have telephoneconversations with a marketeer, should have the option to delete their names!
Sorry for this entry... I know this blog's suppossed to go about all the creativity going on in my live, but every now and than there's something making me so mad, I simply have to get it out of my system and writing it down simply helps.

I understand your anger..just think..if that happened here in Israel and I said I wasnt interested, they slam the phone down on you!!!!!!!! Even more annoying!!

I so share your anger! I absolutely hate these calls! Especially when they call you up in the evenings. I tend to be very impolite when I get marketing calls. They are illegal in Germany and probably in the Netherlands, too (I think it´s EU law). So, I always get very frosty with the callers...and hang up on them. The calls have become fewer. So maybe someone marked us as "hopeless", hee, hee. I sure hope so!!!

Well to be honest I don't know if they are illegal here in Holland, because it would mean the website should not have to be there but I can't be certain about it.
Anyway sometimes you don't get calls for week and sometimes you get about three calls per day. At least I registered at the website now, so hopefully they don't call me anymore also :)
